Other Cultural Links in Cusco
Art and Cultural Centers
This is a convenience listing of a few friends and
acquaintances who also coordinate cultural or art centers
in Cusco.
Apulaya - Center for Andean Music &
Art. Workshops, courses y vacations of Andean
music and Pre-Colombian art in the sacred valley of
the Incas. Emerita and Valerio are friends of ours as
well as godparents of our daughter.
Centro Tinku. We know Jean-Jacques
because Elena has given seminars on the Escuela
Cuesqueña art period/theme in the center, and
Jean-Jacques has come to several events in our
cultural center.
Qosqo Wasinchis La Casa de la Cultura
Solidaria. Before we formed the Tupac Inca
Yupanqui Cultural Center, we were participating (and
still do) in events at Qosqo Wasinchis.
Cultural Agendas/Promoters
AgendaCusco.com. Provides a
calendar of events for Cusco (art, culture, sport,
entertainment, ...) as well as articles on culture and
events, a directory of cultural centers, a photo
gallery and other great stuff. They've recently
upgraded their web site to a more modern look
including reference to Facebook.
CuscoCulto.com. Provides a calendar
of events for Cusco, a photo gallery of events and
reference to their Facebook page. This year (2010)
they have been very thorough in showing all events for
Cusco as well as photos/stories of past events.
There are other cultural calenders/agendas, but these two
above are the best available online.

also publishes a monthly flyer of cultural activities
which is also available at-line (.pdf or .doc) as the
Agenda Cultural or
Ventana Cultural del
